Since the advent of devolution ,county governments in Kenya have failed the critical challenge of mobilizing sufficient and sustainable revenues to finance devolved functions .The fiscal gap between county expenditure needs and available revenues has persisted ,threatening service delivery and undermining development outcomes.
To bridge this gap ,Own Source Revenue {OSR} has emerged as a vital pillar for strengthening county fiscal autonomy and complementing intergovernmental transfers .In line with ,Ecocapp has been coventing the OSR Growth conference annually since 2024 ,providing a platform for dialogue ,knowledge sharing and collaboration among stakeholders on revenue mobilization reform.
